Questo nuovo progetto di Bonbooze è nato dall’incontro con Rico B, un collezionista e amante di vinili appartenente al Sound System Forward The Bass operante a Bologna dal 2002.
Venendo a conoscenza delle loro reciproche potenzialità, l'uno profondo cultore delle sonorità Reggae, l'altro esperto nel beatmaking, hanno iniziato a scavare nel ricco archivio FTB, campionando pezzi noti e non dai sapori oltreoceano, dando vita a questo disco chiamato “Ruff A Dub”.
In dieci loops partoriti in due giorni di studio no stop, si miscelano suoni che uniscono Hiphop, Reggae, Funk, Rub a dub, Dub e Rocksteady, rendendo l'ascolto lieto e gradevole anche all'orecchio dei non amanti del genere.
